As Accountant A-Z you will be responsible for accounting for 1 or more entities, which will increase your autonomy and experience with various accounting topics. 

Tasks:

• Support for the P2P process
• Preparation of quarterly journal entries for non AP and AR related transactions
• Perform Balance Sheet and quarterly accounts reconciliation and analysis
• Preparation of quarterly financial reports and closings
• You will play a role in small and large accounting and consolidation projects on the domestic and international level, which will allow you to develop new knowledge and an experience
• Preparation of the IFRS journal entries for group entities
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Support in preparation of statutory annual accounts
• Providing support to audit team and guide other colleagues through audit process
• Provide support to other members of the finance team, especially accounting and IFRS team, as well as support to P2P process, when needed
• Embrace (continuous) technological improvements and support new software implementations; Support in the process of implementation of the new finance tools and solutions
• Taking active part in creation and continuous update of a group accounting policies

Skills & Qualifications:

• You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as GL accountant in an international environment (IFRS) covering multiple entities and jurisdictions
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software (e.g. EOL)
• Strong focus on details, accuracy, and ability to multi-task
• Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Proactive and able to work autonomously
• Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Curious with strong critical thinking skills
• Open communication and willingness to ask questions
• Fluent in English + Dutch or French
• Knowledge of financial consolidation is a plus
