We are looking for a dedicated HR Officer to join our HR team at Virya Energy, providing support to its entities.
You are responsible of the Payroll & Benefits and various general HR tasks during the ELC (Employee Life Cycle).

 

Compensation & Benefits :

  • Working with external partners such as payroll secretariat, insurers and partners related at C&B.

  • You take care of the payroll and related benefit administration of  +/-80 employees.

  • You are responsible for the administrative management of personnel files and social documents: drawing up employment contracts, addenda to contracts, certificates, correspondence, data entry, etc…

  • You will provide support for monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting (head count, absenteeism, etc.).

  • Ensuring correct application of tax and social legislation to remuneration packages.

  • Monitoring budgets and reporting on C&B costs.

Employee Contact and Orientation:

  • First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial contact for employees regarding HR-related questions.

  • Information on Policies: Provide information on various policies such as leave, pensions, sick leave, and time credit.

 

Onboarding, offboarding, promotion mutation of employees:

  • You are responsible for the administrative management of personnel files and social documents: drawing up employment contracts, addenda to contracts, certificates, correspondence, data entry, etc…

  • Onboarding welcome presentation.

  • Conduct exit interviews, management offboarding documents.

 

HR Policies and working regulations:

  • Draft, maintain and optimise HR policy documents and guidelines (e.g. mobility, working from home, leave arrangements, codes of conduct).

  • Coordinate internal communication around HR policies.

  • Supporting audits and reporting around HR processes.

Job requirements

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree and have at least 5 years of experience in HR, with a proven track record in both national and international payroll management.

  • You possess excellent communication skills in Dutch and French, and a good level of English, enabling you to easily connect with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • You are capable of working within tight deadlines.

  • Discretion, ownership, results-oriented and reliability are essential qualities for this role.

  • Team player who can also work independently. As a self-starter and self-motivator, you take initiative and handle a variety of tasks and projects.

  • You are willing to travel between our offices in Halle and Braine-l’Alleud."
